Picture Info

Picture size

I offer all my images in a number of print sizes. Size depends on what medium you want it printed on. Canvas or Fine art paper or FujiFlex.
In-house printing is done on an Epson 4900 Stylist Pro using their UltraChrome HDR 11 colour ink technology.
The Epson 4900 model prints on a roll 430mm or 17" wide.
A panorama is a 1:3 ratio. Three times as long as it is high. So a full height 430mm print will be 1290mm long.
Out sourced prints on FujiFlex Crystal Archive paper can be printed up to 720mm x 2540mm or 30" x 100"

Print Options

Prints are available on 3 different media.
* Canvas
* Fine Art Paper
* Fujiflex Crystal Archive

Canvas

Printed in-house on our Epson Stylist Pro 4900 11 colour UltraChrome ink printer, using "Canson Museum Art Canvas" in widths of up to 390mm or 16" wide after wrapping the frame, in panorama 1:3 ratio up to 1170mm long.
In-house hand made matt black painted frames with the canvas clear coated with gloss acrylic.

Fine Art Paper

Printed in-house on our Epson Stylist Pro 4900 11 colour UltraChrome ink printer, using "Canson RAG Photographique" 310grm fine art paper. This heavy weight pure white paper is 100% cotton rag with no optical brighteners. It produces high saturated colours with excellent whites and details in blacks. Combined with the Epsons HDR ink set gives a wide colour gamut. The cotton rag papers are known for their long archival life.
We can print images up to widths of 420mm and in panorama format (1:3) 1260mm long.

FujiFlex Crystal Archive Paper

The FujiFlex Crystal Archive paper is the VERY BEST in photographic papers.
The FujiFlex is a silver halide based paper that has the highest colour gamut of any photo medium available. It is developed by a 3 light and chemical bath process, not sprayed on ink as with inkjet printers. The silver halide crystals within the papers film give off a glow under lights, making the image look as if it is back lit. It is developed using a Durst Lambda 76 digital laser enlarger costing upwards of 1/4 to 1/2 a million dollars of which there are hardly a handful of machines in Australia.
Available in print sizes up to 760mm wide and 2540mm long, or 30" x 100".

Frame Options

The frame and mat colour options at the top beside the images is really just to give you an idea of what the picture will look like with a particular mat and frame colour combination and help you quickly narrow down your choice.
